I am absolutely tickled pink (and perhaps a subtle shade of "over-caffeinated") that you’ve found your way to my little corner of the worldwide web. Whether you’re here to investigate my books or just checking to see if I’m a real person and not three otters stacked in a trench coat, I'm glad you are here!

I’ve never been one to take reading or writing for granted. Ever since my parents and teachers handed me the all-access pass to a world of words, these skills have invited me into more rooms—and more adventures—than I ever could have stumbled upon on my own. More importantly, they’ve allowed me to crash this wonderful party of like-hearted readers and writers.

The truth is, YOU, dear reader, are my "why." Every time I consider letting a character wander off into a coma, I think of you and keep typing. You are the reason I continue to brew way too much coffee and argue with imaginary people at 4:00 AM.

To my fellow bibliophiles: thank you for the continuous inspiration. My goal is simple ~ I want to return the favor. If I can inspire you to stay up just one hour past your bedtime or feel a little less alone in this big, messy world, then I’ve done my job.
